Privacy policy

This policy applies to the app Endotrack (web app, iOS, Android) and to the website endotrack.ch. Responsible: Tobias Fierz, Switzerland, contact@endotrack.ch.

1. Principle: your data stays on your device

Endotrack is deliberately built without servers, cloud or user accounts. There is no place your diary data could be transmitted to. We never have access to it.

2. What the app stores

Everything you enter yourself: pain levels, pain location, accompanying symptoms, cycle and bleeding, food (gluten, red meat, lactose, sugar), measures and their effect, notes, and your patient profile (name, date of birth, diagnosis, therapy).

3. Where the app stores it

• Exclusively on your device: in the app’s or browser’s storage and, in the native apps, additionally in the operating system’s protected app storage.
• There is no transmission to us or to third parties, not even anonymised.
• The PDF report is generated entirely on your device. What you do with it (save, share, print) is up to you.

4. No internet connection needed

The app works fully offline. Fonts and all components are bundled with the app; nothing is loaded from third parties.

5. Tracking, analytics, advertising

Neither the app nor the website uses tracking, analytics or advertising services. No marketing cookies are set. The website only remembers locally in your browser whether you dismissed the language notice.

6. Website endotrack.ch

The website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva (Switzerland). When you visit, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) in server log files to ensure operation and security. This data is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short period. Infomaniak’s privacy policy: infomaniak.com.

The web app at endotrack.ch/app stores your entries exclusively in your browser (see section 3).

7. Contact by e-mail

If you write to me, I use your details only to answer your request. Please do not send health data by e-mail.

8. Your control and your rights

• You can export a backup at any time and import it again.
• You delete all data by uninstalling the app or clearing the website data in your browser.
• Since we hold no personal data about you, we cannot provide access, correction or deletion; that control lies entirely with you. I am happy to answer questions at contact@endotrack.ch.

9. Not a medical device

Endotrack is for personal documentation. The app is not a medical device, does not diagnose, does not predict and does not replace medical advice.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated when features change. The current version is always available at endotrack.ch/en/privacy.html, the German version at endotrack.ch/datenschutz.html.
